They are mostly run by electric motors and hydraulic or traction. These lifts are available in all residential buildings, office buildings, and commercial setups where people need to be transported from one floor to the other in a safe manner. Overall, these are light-duty lifts that take lighter loads of up to 1,000 to 1,500 kg, or roughly 8 to 12 persons. Many conventional lifts are equipped with emergency alarms, sensors, and a backup power supply for safe and smooth riding conditions and are appropriate for everyday use in medium-rise buildings.
