Q. What is the mechanism of tray dryer?
A.Tray dryers use a convection-dry mechanism to eliminate moisture from materials placed in the tray. An insulated chamber is used to store wet solids in the boxes that are placed inside. An inlet is filled with fresh air, heated by electric heaters, and ventilated by fans that run at 2 to 5 meters per second. The hot air moves over the trays, taking away moisture from the materials' surface. This moisture evaporates and is carried away by air, which ensures a uniform drying process.
