A.It is easy to clean Brother's toner cartridge, and it can also enhance print quality. First, shut down and power off your printer. Next, you open the front cover of the printer and take out the toner cartridge gently from the printer. Keep that on a flat and clean surface. Gently clean the outside of the cartridge with a lint-free soft cloth. Don't touch the green part, which is the drum, with your fingers, as it might get scratched. If the cartridge has any toner spilling all over it, use the cloth to wipe it out. Take care to not rub too hard into it. For any toner accumulation or blemishes discovered inside the printer, gently brush or wipe the inside with a soft cloth. Use no cleaning agent that can compromise the cartridge or the printer. Close the lid, gently replace the toner cartridge into the printer, and then turn it on once more.
